House Rules

• Check-in is any time after 4:00 PM. Early check-in may be available - please check with us in advance to confirm availability and any applicable fees. Unauthorized early check-ins will incur a $500 fee.

• Check-out is at 10:30 AM sharp. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a $500 fee.

• Authorized early check-in and authorized late check-out will incur a minimum $100 fee.

• Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbors during these hours.

• Loud music is not allowed on the property at any time to maintain a peaceful environment for the neighbors.

• Noise levels are monitored using NoiseAware sensors (no audio recording). During quiet hours, sustained noise levels above 50 NRS indoors or 15 NRS outdoors for longer than 10 minutes may be considered excessive noise and a violation of our no-party policy. Violations may result in a $1,000 disturbance fee and/or immediate removal from the property.

• Only the guests listed in your reservation are allowed on the property unless approved by us ahead of time.

• Smoking is not allowed inside the home.

• Any vomit, feces (including pet feces), blood, or stool is considered a biohazard, and will incur an automatic $500 fine if found on the property.

• Pets must be approved prior to your stay. A $100 pet fee covers up to two pets.

• The person who booked the reservation is responsible for all guests, any damages, and all incidents during the stay.

• Smart thermostats are available for your use, with temperature limits set for efficiency. Please keep
windows and doors closed when using the heating or A/C.

Pool Rules:

• No lifeguard is on duty—swim at your own risk.

• No glass is allowed in or near the pool area.

• Pool heating requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Once payment is received, the heater will be turned on at 8am, with a target temperature of 82°F by 4pm on the first day.

• Spa heating is always complimentary :)

• Pool heating takes up to 10 hours to reach 82°F and must be requested in advance, ideally at the time of booking. Payment must be made before heating begins. Any tampering with pool equipment will result in a $1000 fine.

• Any evidence of smoking inside the house or tampering with cameras/noiseaware sensors will result in a minimum $1,000 penalty.

The space
This place is the real deal. Nestled in an upscale neighborhood of El Cajon, it’s all about the backyard—featuring a private pool, soothing spa, waterslide, and plenty of space to relax or play. Vacation vibes are everywhere you look.

Inside, the main level is designed for gathering. An open-concept layout with vaulted ceilings seamlessly connects the modern kitchen, eight-seat dining table, and cozy living room—perfect for movie nights or unwinding by the fireplace.

Upstairs, you’ll find four private bedrooms, plus a fifth bedroom downstairs, offering plenty of room for everyone. The sleeping arrangements are flexible and ideal for groups of all sizes:

☆ Bedroom 1 (Main suite): King bed, twin bed + sofa bed (sleeps 4)
☆ Bedroom 2: Queen bed (sleeps 2)
☆ Bedroom 3: Twin over twin bunk bed + queen bed (sleeps 4)
☆ Bedroom 4: King bed + twin over twin bunk bed (sleeps 4)
☆ Bedroom 5 (downstairs): King bed (sleeps 2)
☆ Living Room: Sofa + air mattress (sleeps 2)

Each bedroom features its own Smart TV and generous storage, giving everyone the space and comfort they need to settle in. Upstairs, you’ll also find an additional full bathroom with a convenient shower/tub combo.

And then there’s the backyard—it truly steals the show. Enjoy a heated pool (yes, even in winter), a waterslide, heart-shaped spa, tiki bar, BBQ grill, shaded outdoor dining area, fire pit, playground, and room for volleyball or badminton. With an outdoor TV and a ping pong/fitness room, there’s entertainment for every guest.

✨ Pool toys and floaties shown in the photos are for staging purposes only and are not guaranteed to be available during your stay. However, guests occasionally leave behind floaties they’ve purchased, and when they do, we keep them at the property—so there are often some available for use.

Tucked into the rolling hills of East San Diego County, El Cajon is a chill spot that’s got a little something for everyone—whether you’re into the outdoors, hitting the shops, or just soaking up good vibes with the family.

Love nature? There are tons of ways to get outside and explore. Go for a hike up Cowles Mountain, cruise on your bike through Mission Trails, take a peaceful walk around Lake Murray, or cast a line at El Capitan Reservoir. The area is full of trails, parks, and adventure—perfect for stretching your legs and taking in those sunny SoCal views.

Craving the beach? You’re only about 25 minutes from the coast. Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla Shores, and Coronado Beach are all close by—great for sunbathing, swimming, or just watching the waves. And if you’re into epic sunsets, Sunset Cliffs is the spot. Bring your camera!

Springtime is extra special when the wildflowers bloom out in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park—totally worth the drive. And if you’re up for a little road trip, the charming towns of Julian (apple pie, anyone?) and Borrego Springs are both just over an hour away.

Getting around
Getting here is a breeze! Just hop on I-8 heading east from San Diego, or take the Orange or Green Line on the San Diego Trolley if you're riding public transit.

The house is super easy to find—right off the I-8. Having a car definitely makes exploring the area more convenient. You’ll have a private garage that fits two cars, plus room for four more in the gated driveway.
