House Rules

Check-in is any time after 4:00 PM. Early check-in may be available - please check with us in advance to confirm availability and any applicable fees. Unauthorized early check-ins will incur a $500 fee.

Check-out is at 10:30 AM sharp. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a $500 fee.

Authorized early check-in and authorized late check-out will incur a minimum $100 fee.

Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbors during these hours.

Excessive noise may result in fines or the cancellation of your reservation.

Loud music is not allowed on the property to maintain a peaceful environment for the neighbors. Failure to keep noise levels down during quiet hours will result in a $500 fine and/or immediate removal from the property.

Only the guests listed in your reservation are allowed on the property unless approved by us ahead of time. Additional guests will incur extra charges.

The exterior of the property is monitored with security cameras. We also use NoiseAware sensors both indoors and outdoors. These devices alert us only when noise levels are consistently above a set
threshold; normal conversation won't trigger an alert.

By booking this listing, you agree to contact the host directly with any issues you experience during your stay, including non-working amenities, cleanliness concerns, or anything else affecting the property. We will address and resolve all reported issues within 24 hours. If any amenity is not working during your stay, we will provide a $25 per day credit until it is restored.

Smoking is not allowed inside the home.

Any cleanup involving vomit, feces (including pet feces), or blood will result in a $500 minimum penalty.

Pets must be approved prior to your stay. A $100 pet fee covers up to two pets.

The person who booked the reservation is responsible for all guests, any damages, and all incidents during the stay.

Smart thermostats are available for your use, with temperature limits set for efficiency. Please keep
windows and doors closed when using the heating or A/C.

Pool Rules

No lifeguard is on duty—swim at your own risk.

No glass is allowed in or near the pool area.

Pool heating requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Once payment is received, the heater will be turned on at 8am, with a target temperature of 82°F by 4pm on the first day.

Spa heating is always complimentary :)

Pool heating takes up to 10 hours to reach 82°F and must be requested in advance, ideally at the time of booking. Payment must be made before heating begins. Any tampering with pool equipment will result in a $1000 fine.

This stylish and cozy home is tucked into the hillside and comes with a private backyard oasis, blazing fast Wi-Fi, open layout, and even your own garage. Inside, you'll find comfy, upscale furnishings and a kitchen that’s fully stocked with custom cabinets, quartz counters, and stainless steel appliances—perfect for cooking up a storm. The open living and dining areas are super spacious and lead right into a fun indoor game room with a ping pong table and plenty of family-friendly games.

The main bedroom is a dream with a king bed, twin bed, Smart TV, and a private bathroom with a massive walk-in shower. The home sleeps up to 14 guests comfortably and is spread out across four bedrooms with flexible sleeping options:

Welcome to La Mesa—a hidden gem tucked in the hills of San Diego County. It’s a laid-back, charming town with a cute downtown, leafy streets, and plenty of local flavor. You’ll find everything from hiking spots and parks to great restaurants, shops, and fun things to do, all with that sunny SoCal weather we all love.

La Mesa is nicknamed the Jewel of the Hills for a reason. If you’re into the outdoors, you’ll love the nearby trails and nature spots. Mission Trails Regional Park is just five minutes away, with over 60 miles of hiking paths, Cowles Mountain, and Lake Murray (great for walking, fishing, or renting a boat). And if you're up for a short drive, head to Mount Helix—amazing views, especially on a clear day when you might even catch a glimpse of Mexico!

Want to get your steps in? Check out La Mesa’s “Secret Stairs” in the Mt. Nebo/Windsor Hills neighborhood—a fun and scenic way to get a workout in. If you’ve got kids with you, Harry Griffen Park is a great hangout with a big open field, a playground, and even live music in the summer.

Don’t miss the La Mesa Farmers Market every Friday afternoon—it’s a great place to grab fresh produce and local goodies. There’s a Vons just a mile away for your everyday grocery runs, and you’ll find tons of great restaurants and coffee spots within walking distance. If you’re in the mood to shop, Grossmont Center is super close, and Parkway Plaza Mall isn’t far either.

The beach? Just 20 minutes away. Hit up Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla Shores, or Coronado for some sun, surf, and serious chill vibes. Sunset Cliffs is a must for amazing ocean views and, of course, those golden hour photo ops.

You’re also just a short drive from pretty much everything—SDSU, breweries, wine tasting rooms, Downtown San Diego, Balboa Park, Old Town, Sea World, Seaport Village, concert spots, and more. It’s the perfect home base for your San Diego adventure!
Getting around
La Mesa gives you the best of both worlds – it’s quiet and chill, but still super close to all the action. You’ll want a car to get around easily since the place is right off the 8 and 125 freeways. Don’t worry about parking – there’s a private garage that fits two cars, plus two more spots in the driveway. There’s a bit of street parking too, though it can be limited.

Close to Everything You Need
You’re just a short walk to Historic La Mesa Village – full of cute shops, great restaurants, and local spots to explore. Need a ride? Ubers show up in about 3 minutes. If you prefer public transport, the Grossmont Trolley Station is only 1.3 miles away.
